Esteemed Colleagues,
I am personally encouraging your participation in the EMO Affiliates (EA), an innovative association of doctors brought
into existence in order to offer the most superior standard of service to our patients. EA stems from the activities of
the EMO - GVM Centro Cuore
(www.centrocuoremilano.com), an autonomous cardiology service
operating within Milan. Since the establishment of the centre more than 20 years ago, its main principle has always been
to offer the highest standard of techniques, skills and equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular
diseases.
Designed to equip interventional cardiologists with a network of support, the EA provides a number of services with
a collective approach to sharing knowledge and expertise. These include educational events, clinical case reviews and
second opinions as well as the opportunity for affiliates to send and accompany their patients to our specialized centre
for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, consult with the medical team and assist in the intervention.
We welcome any feedback from our affiliates and invite you to make further suggestions as to services that you would like
to see offered by the EA.
